When you start a new job, you should go out of your way to be nice to the IT staff. Why? Because they may very well be responsible for tracking your internet usage and turning you in.
Once you get friendly with them, you can even work at extracting info from them. You know, casually mention that a friend got fired from a job for downloading a movie and ask if they can actually track that sort of thing. And if they do it at your job.
Bring them goodies and always treat them nice. It is really in your best interest. And it just may prevent you from getting fired!
