Slacker Tip #207 – Send a co-worker flowers. Anonymously.
In my experience the busy body co-worker that is always trying to catch you slacking off is female. I’ve had loads of jobs and that’s just the truth. Every single time someone has been out to get me fired for “not being a team player” or “not pulling my weight for the team” it has been a woman. Most, but not all of the time, this person has been what I like to call a frau. I imagine that this person goes home to a house full of 312 cats & their geriatric monther and eats TV dinners with them while knitting little kitten booties for each of cats.
Anyways, this person is usually the type of person that no one would be interested in romantically. At least no one in their right mind. I mean, really, who likes a tattle tale?
So, now that Valentine’s day is over you might be able to find some cheap flowers. I say send something to this pain in the ass co-worker – but DON’T sign your name! Make it like a secret admirer type of thing. If all goes as planned everyone in the office will spend most of the day chatting away with this co-worker – at her desk. That will keep her occupied and out of your hair.
Now the question is this – how much is this worth to you? Cause you could pull this shit weekly. Or even send stuff to different co-workers. Ah, good times.
