Being Sick Excuse #56 - Had to Take Vicodin For Pain & Can’t Drive
Okay, so this excuse may be a stretch but hear me out on this one.
My sister-in-law was just telling me a story about a sinus infection that got down in the roots of her teeth that was so painful that she had to take vicodin. Can this really happen or is she full of shit? I have no clue, but it did give me a great idea for an excuse.
Make up a reason for severe pain - any reason for it - and call in that you have to take vicodin for it and that makes you unable to drive (or function). No boss in their right mind would want someone at work that is on vicodin anyways. So, score!
