Slacker Tip #204 - When You Get Reprimanded At Work
As a slacker I am certain that you have gotten into trouble at work a few times. For me, it is usually getting caught playing on the internet that gets me written up or talked to by a manager. If this has happened to you too, then you know that how you respond is very important. It can be the difference between keeping the cushy slacker job or getting fired. It can also mean getting monitored all the time at work, and no slacker wants that kind of shit!
When you get reprimanded for something slacker related your first instinct may be to make up an elaborate story. Don’t go that far.
My most successful response to date is something along the lines of “I’m sorry. My head was overloaded from looking at the first quarter financials and I thought a little Tetris might clear my head. Next time I’ll just take a walk.”
