Slacker Tip #195 – Keep a brisk pace
Part of being an efficient slacker is getting people to leave you alone at work. You can accomplish this by getting people to think that you are always busy and hard at work. One of the ways to do this is to walk at a brisk pace when you are going to your office. People will assume you are in a hurry beccause you have a lot to do. On the other hand, if you casually stroll through the office, you may get stopped and given extra projects – and no one wants that!
If you give the impression that you are busy, people at work will assume that you are.
