Being Sick Excuse #48 – Swine Flu!
You may have already thought of it and used it, but there is an AWESOME sick excuse that you can use right now.
Swine flu!!!
Think about it – you can get out of probably a week of work by calling in and saying that you have flu-like symptoms and since this whole swine flu pandemic you are going to stay home till it passes. You will have your bosses thanking you for staying home. Trust me.
And if you have a wanker of a boss that wants to know if you have had any contact with anyone else that has it you will have to make them think that you have. Maybe tell them you went to Cancun for Easter weekend or that your nephew went to Cancun for Spring Break and you spent the weekend with him and he’s sick too. Use your imagination – but don’t get to wild with it!
