CareerBuilder recently did an article on what they thought were amusing late excuses. Actually, what is amusing is that someone thought these excuses would work.
I feel like I’m in everyone’s way if I show up on time.
If you are a boss and you get this excuse you know you have a moron working for you. I’m so ashamed that someone actually thought this was a decent excuse for being late. Where is the classic ‘flat tire’ excuse?
