Slacker tip #184 – Using Google to view restricted sites
Even the jobs with the most lenient internet usage policy block some of the best sites. And sometimes they end up blocking really weird sites. At my last job I was trying to look at a site on teepees for an articles I was writing and it was blocked. I really needed to look at that site so that sucked. I tried using the Google cache trick but that was blocked too.
Today I came across a new tip for using Google to view restricted sites. Maybe it would have worked for me and it might help you out too. It’s using Google Translate to fool the website restriction software at work. Check out the details at the link.
