Slacker tip #178 - hook your laptop up to your monitor at work
A few days ago I was working on my laptop at work on my lunch break. You see, I take it with me to work some days so that I can get some useful things done on programs that are not on my work computer. As my lunch break was coming to a close I was wishing that I could use the laptop all afternoon without someone noticing.
Then I had an idea.
You can use your personal laptop at work without anyone knowing!
Here is how you do it - clearly you can’t have the laptop open cause someone will see that you are not using your work computer. So, power up your laptop. Disconnect your work monitor from your work computer and hook it up to your laptop. Voila! You can use your laptop without anyone knowing!
