A third of workers are complete slackers
Have you ever had a boss make you feel like you are the only slacker in the world? Well, good news, you are not! According to a recent survey, about a third of US workers actually admit calling in sick when they are not. And that is just the people that admitted it for the survey!
The interesting part of this survey was the responses of those meddling managers. It seems that 31% of employers checked up on the slackers. And a crazy 18% fired workers that did not have a legit excuse. That is why you keep a doctor’s note handy!
