This series focuses on the 10 most unusual late excuses, according to bosses. So, all of these excuses were heard by bosses. And since the bosses listed them as ‘unusual’ I am assuming they did not buy it. No word though on if the idiot employee got fired.
And now, excuse #6:
6. My son tried to flush our ferret down the toilet and I needed to tend to the ferret.
