Slacker tip #168 - getting unemployment benefits as a temp is easier than you think
There are few good things about being a temp. But one of those good things is how easy it is to get unemployment money. It is shockingly easy. In fact, I am surprised more of you are not trying it.
The simple fact is this - if you can get your job to call the staffing agency and say that they do not want you, then your staffing agency will take you off the job and probably not place you any place else. That means that you are unemployed due to lack of work. Booyah!
Then just sit back and wait for those unemployment checks to roll on in.
