Slacker tip #167 - read at work without getting caught

Posted by: the complete slacker on Tuesday, June 10th, 2008

Sometimes all you want to do at work is sit back and read a good book or magazine. Of course, doing that would probably get you fired pretty quickly. Well, now there is a solution for that pesky little problem.

Read at Work is a site that can fool even the nosiest of co-workers. You see, it is modeled to look just like Windows XP and when you click to enter the main site it changes to a full screen mode to further conceal the trickery.

You will see some folders that you click on to get to the reading material. The reading material consists of public domain works in PowerPoint-looking chunks. Then just press ‘escape’ to get out of the full-screen mode.
