Slacker tip #162 – a little fun with PhoneMyPhone
Okay, so first, what is PhoneMyPhone? Apparently it is this nifty little website that is supposed to be used for things like calling your cell phone when you can’t locate it. You know, so you will hear the ring and find it. However, it has this option where you can schedule calls. That is the important part.
Now, there are a few different things you could do with this.
Let’s say that you have invented a kid like I did at a previous job and want to get a call saying that the kid is sick so that you can leave early. Well, all you do is schedule it to call you at the time you want to leave, answer the phone and put on your best Oscar-worthy performance.
You could also use this to get out of a meeting.
Or you could use it to call other people! Nothing like annoying a co-worker or a boss with something like this! Or let’s say you are supposed to get some training from a co-worker at a certain time. Why not set this thing up to call them a few times instead?
