Still a slacker, Still not fired, Still getting paid to do nothing
If you recall, it was about 3 weeks ago that I thought my slacker ways were going to get me fired. Again. As luck would have it I am still employed and making an obscene amount of money to do nothing. You see, three weeks ago when I thought I was getting fired I went on the offensive. I stopped doing any work at all! And I took all of the notes on how to do my job and put them in my backpack.
Three weeks later and those notes are getting damn heavy! But I do love to still be getting paid to do nothing.
So what does this mean?
Am I losing my touch in detecting when I am about to get fired? Actually I do not think so. You see, the job ad for my job was updated on February 4th so they are still actively looking for my replacement. But the are looking for someone with a master’s degree and 7 years of experience. Apparently that is proving difficult to find in this town. And lucky for me I get to keep getting paid. And yes I have an MBA and am a slacker. Beautiful, isn’t it?
