Slacker tip #138 – write whatever you want

This tip comes from a reader.

Dawwni says,

In meetings, teachers or business people can’t really stop you from writing because you might be taking notes. So, you can write whatever you want and they won’t know the difference.

I concur.  I can’t tell you how many college classes I took where I was writing something that was so not class related – yet I appeared to be a diligent note-taker. As if.

I like to employ this in work meetings too. The only problem is when it is a small meeting and your boss can see your paper. It’s just not practical to cover it up with your arm and lean over it like you did in grade school. All that will get you is weird looks and a line in the unemployment line. Trust me.
