Being sick excuse #34 - can’t drive in snow

Well, it is getting to be that time of year again. The freeze your ass kind of cold that brings with it snow. I hate driving in snow. Not because I don’t feel comfortable doing it but because I worry about the other idiots that are bound to crash into me because they don’t know how to drive in the snow!

Snow is always a good excuse for calling in. However, women may have better luck with this than men. I mean, let’s face it, men are supposed to be all macho and not afraid of a little ass-deep snow. And women can call in if there is a light dusting of snow and get away with it. So, do keep that in mind. Unless of course you are a girly man.

Basically, all you need to do is wait for it to snow and then call in due to the snow. This works best if no one knows exactly where you live. Then you can say that you live at the top of a hill and it’s really bad, etc. and so on. And if you do call in for snow and decide to go out to the mall or something, wear a disguise. I actually worked somewhere once where a boss had a normally scheduled day off and was at the mall and someone had called in for snow reasons and saw the boss at the mall. The boss returned to work and saw that the person had called in for snow reasons - person was fired.

So, as usual, be smart about your lies slackers!
