Being sick excuse #27 - no electricity
This should get you out of work for at least a half day if not the full day. Although, depending on how things are going at your job you might not want to push for an entire day with this excuse.
It’s simple really. You just call and say that your electric is out and you can’t come in until it is back on and you have hot water so you can shower.
No one wants your stinky ass at work.
This is an even better excuse if you have seen on the news that the power is out near you or if there has been a pretty bad storm the night before.
