Slacker tip #70 - even more on keeping your boss busy
Yes, it is true - I am fixated on both keeping the boss busy AND annoyed at the same time. It really helps keep the balance in the universe I think.
While sitting at my desk earlier I had a brilliant idea. I thought of a way to make sure that the boss gets loads, and I mean loads, of phone calls. Sure, the boss can always forward all calls to voice mail, but that is not likely.
Okay, ready for my idea? Remember, this one will work for co-workers as well. Or even just someone that you want to play a prank on.
*drumroll*
Put an ad on Craigslist - make it something uber cheap, like maybe a TV for $50. Then put the direct phone number of the boss in the ad for peeps to call for more info. Ah, that will be funny. I know, I’ve sold a 27 inch TV on Craigslist for $50 before - people eat that shit up yo. They will be calling the boss all day long.
For bonus points put in the main number of your office as a “If you don’t reach me at my direct line, call this number ask for (insert name here).”
Makes me wish I was working so that I could try this out myself.
