Slacker tip #68 - avoid long interviews
What do you do when you are trying to get paid to do nothing with unemployment but your staffing agency wants to send you out on job interviews? That really messes up the whole quest to do nothing that I work so hard on. So, for me that means getting creative because you do not want to lose the unemployment but you do not want to get a job either.
An easy thing to do is not show up for the interview.
Of course you run the risk of the staffing agency telling the unemployment office that you were a no show to the interview. That might result in the loss of unemployment funds for you (or me in this case).
So that is out of the question.
But I really do not want to go as it is supposed to be a 2 hour interview.
Two hours wasted on interviewing for a job that I do not want. At all. I am happy sitting at home with my unemployment. Yes, I am.
If you remember this is the place I went to last week that was a “Christian company” so I have a plan.
I wonder how quickly I can get out of the interview by telling them I am a super homo? The way I figure it the “Christian company” peeps will want anyone but a super homo working for them. It should be an easy out.
I’ll let you know if it works. Otherwise I’ll be sitting in a 2 hour interview where everyone knows me as the super homo.
