Wanna skip work tomorrow?
Sometimes Mondays just come too quickly. If you’re like me, then you do not want to go to work tomorrow and you already know it. Luckily for us, we have a perfect excuse.
Thanks to the news online, we can see that the interstates in Florida are closed due to the wildfires. There you go - there is your excuse.
If you live close enough to Florida that it would be possible that you would have driven down for the weekend, you can call and say you are stuck due to the interstate being closed for the wildfire. Your boss will be able to pull up Yahoo news and see that the interstate is in fact closed.
Don’t live close enough to Florida for that to work? Doesn’t matter. You can fly to Florida for the weekend and get stuck there. Let’s say maybe you flew into an airport in one part of Florida, but you and your rental car are now stuck in another part because of the wildfire. It’s so crazy, it will most likely work. Seriously. Sometimes, bosses think, ‘That’s too ballsy for them to make up, so it must be true.’ Suckers.
And, the next post is a paid review, not slacker related at all, but definitely cash related. I’d get bonus points for it if I’d done it at work, but sadly I didn’t think about it.
