Slacker tip #26 - the minute clinic

Posted by: the complete slacker on Tuesday, April 24th, 2007

Don’t want to use my fake doctor’s note because you’re not a good liar? Or maybe you’re just scared it won’t work? But you don’t want to pay a fortune to go to the doctor to get a real note - go to the minute clinic!

The minute clinic is nifty little 15-minute clinic that you can find at your local CVS. Visit www.minuteclinic.com to see if there is one near you. The best thing about the minute clinic is that it is uber cheap. So, you can get a real doctor’s note for about a third of the cost of going to a regular doctor. I know this because this slacker went to a walk-in clinic today for a strep test. I was told the cost was $164, I walked out and went to the minute clinic where the cost was $59. Other things are cheaper - so I’d find the cheapest thing to get a doctor’s note. Honestly, you only need a note saying you did indeed spend some time with a doctor.

As a bonus, you could probably get the minute clinic logo from the website to create your own fake doctors note. Just be sure your office doesn’t actually call to verify because they can check the phone number online.
